I think macro shots are cool and interesting, but I can't afford a macro lens. But I found a cool site that showed me the poor man's way to make my lens a macro lens. So here is my take. Hope you like. This is my cell phone case. One day I hope to acquire a macro lens but who knows when that will be?

There are so many places in San  Diego to take pictures, and you don't realize it until a photo project idea comes forth. This picture was taken in the Pacific Beach area. It is a mix of suburban homes and an urban city in one. At least I like to think so. And of course the beach is within walking distance to those who live and work in the area.

took my nephew to his gymnastic class today and while sitting there decided to try my hand at a candid photo. I have been reading up on street photography, from angles to getting that epic candid shot. I am happy with what I took and you may see more of my attempts as I photograph the urban streets of San Diego... Ok not all of its urban per se, but enough of it is for me to try my hand at it.

So here is the side of my purse which looks like a big coin purse. I absolutely love this purse. Also my Canon fits in there so a win win!
